CVS Cheshire East Volunteering Hub is run by Community & Voluntary Services (CVS) Cheshire East (www.cvsce.org.uk).

CVS Cheshire East provides a wide range of support and services to groups, helping those that are starting up, as well as organisations that are already established. They are committed to equal opportunities and to making our services relevant and accessible to smaller groups. They are an independent organisation supporting the development of a vibrant, effective and influential voluntary and community sector (VCS) across Cheshire East.

CVS Cheshire East is a registered charity (no.1132927) and a Company Limited by Guarantee (no. 07019841) and has representation from over 2000 local voluntary & community groups. They are a member of the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action and work closely with NAVCA members both locally and nationally.

CVS Cheshire East also supports networks and partnership working and has an intermediary role, supporting and facilitating joint working between voluntary and community groups and with statutory bodies; and helping to ensure that the interests and concerns of the voluntary and community sector are properly represented. In addition to supporting groups, they also support individuals who wish to become volunteers and those already involved in volunteering.
