Finance and General Purposes Committee

The Finance and General Purposes Committee usually meets on the fourth Monday of each month (excluding August).

The full terms of reference for the Committee are attached below, however the main role of the Committee can be summarised as:

• Overseeing the financial governance of the Council
• Making recommendations to the Town Council relating to financial governance matters
• Making recommendations to the Council regarding Community Grant Applications
• Management of Council Assets
• Advising the Town Council on Employment matters
