Discover Lindow 2024
Discover Lindow 2024 is a series of events organised by Friends of Lindow Moss (a Transition Wilmslow group) to commemorate 40 years since the discovery of Lindow Man.
Wilmslow Town Council is sponsoring Discover Lindow through its Community Grants scheme.
Events will include:
– Heritage walk launch and celebration,
– Lindow Moss exhibition in Wilmslow Library,
– Schools’ art installation,
– A Lindow Man course at The Guild for Lifelong Learning,
– Exhibition of Lindow Moss-inspired textiles, calligraphy and more at the Guild,
– Dawn walk to mark the 40th anniversary of the discovery of Lindow Man,
– Poetry, prose and ecology walk,
– Exhibitions of artworks at the Guild.
