The legislation allowing Town and Parish Councils to conduct formal decision making meetings online during the Covid crisis expired on 7 May 2021.
The government have advised that the primary legislation required to extend this meeting option will not have the parlimentary time to pass.
As a result the Town Council is not able to meet again until Covid guidance and regulations allow.
The current roadmap being followed by the government leads us to believe that 19 July is the most likely date at which meetings will take place.
The Council will continue to opperate during this period with certain functions delagated to officers for the timebeing.
Members of the public wishing to bring matters to the attention of Councillors should contact their Councillor directly during this time or contact the Council offices.
