Wilmslow Town Council believes that CCTV in the Town Centre is effective in prevent crime, in providing evidence and in making our community feel safer.
Cheshire East Council operate and manage the system but Wilmslow Town Council provides the funding and has done since CEC funding was withdrawn some years ago.
At it's meeting on 15 March 2021 the Town Council agreed to fund this project for a further three years at a cost of £17,000 pa.
All enquires regarding the system should be made directly to Cheshire East Council who hold and store images under their privacy and cctv policies.
