Town Council Meetings Switch to Online Format

All in person Town Council and Town Council Committee Meetings have been cancelled since the Government introduced social distancing regulations in March but Video Meetings will start from Monday 11 May 2020.

Over recent weeks legislation has been passed allowing Town and Parish Councils to meet remotely to make decisions and Wilmslow Town Council is now planning to do so during May.

The first of these meetings will take place on Monday 11th May via Zoom Video Conference and will be accessible to the public in line with the new regulations.

Members of the public will be allowed to listen to all public sections of the meetings but will only be able to address the meeting during the period of Public Participation.

Should members of the public wish to access the meeting they can do so by clicking on the link provided on the meeting agenda, failing that they are welcome to write or email the Town Council with their comments in advance of the meeting ( preferably a week prior to the meeting so that comments can be circulated)

The public are reminded however that any comments on planning applications should also be made directly the Cheshire East Council as they are the Planning Authority for Wilmslow.

Any other questions of the Town Council should be made in the usual way preferably via email but also by phone.
