Town Clerk

Matthew Jackson is the Clerk & Responsible Financial Officer for the Town Council.
Matthew is the first point of contact for all Town Council business and can be contacted by email on townclerk@wilmslowtowncouncil.gov.uk or by telephone on 01625 402907.

Matthew works full time and ensures that the instructions of the Council in connection with its function as a Local Authority are carried out.
He advises the Council on, and assists in the formation of, overall policies to be followed in respect of the Council’s activities and in particular to produce all the information required for making effective decisions and to implement constructively all decisions. Matthew oversees the Council’s resources, administration and communications and reports to the Council as and when required. He is also the Responsible Financial Officer, responsible for all financial records of the Council and the careful administration of its finances.
