Wilmslow is perfectly located for residents to enjoy the countryside without having to jump in their cars first.

The two river valleys of the Bollin and the Dean define much of our landscape character and present excellent opportunities to get out and about. Cycling is very popular in Wilmslow and the surrounding area. Cycle Wilmslow has developed a Cycling Map & Guide, part-funded by Wilmslow Town Council, that illustrates the dedicated cycling routes around the the town and also indicates recommended quiet roads to enable movement around the town with the greatest level of safety.
